Words from the heart

06
Feb

Dear all my valued viewers. I just want to speak it out that I’ve tried very hard to make sure some of my creation is exclusively idealized by me. I made them with all my heart with a big hope that it is profitable for me and my family. But somehow it a bit unpleasant when someone may use my very own idea to their own business advantages. I know I couldn’t stop anyone to copy the idea, but be creative a little bit, improve the idea instead. Beside, I am happy if someone got inspired by my creation. And I don’t mind to share the tutorial with the viewers of some of the product I’ve created, so that you can do it yourself, for your own use, not to resell the idea.

My style is simple, if the customer asked me to make something that well-knownly belongs to someone (the design or idea), I asked the customer to directly order from the designer instead. That’s what I called respect others creation. To all crafters that faced the same situation like me, I know the feeling. Wish you all the best, and may the courage of the idea will never fade away!

Thank you for reading…

I’m back!

01
Oct

Hi viewers! So sorry for my long absence. Went no where, just taking an ample rest-time before back to craft. So many things happened which had slow-downed my mood. The biggest of all, my maid didn’t return home yet since she off for hari raya holiday. What a heck! And because of her, forcefully i sent my lil’ Sufi to nursery this morning since I officially start working today. I have to back to the nursery again this lunch break to breast feed her as I am a fully breast-feeding mother.

My crafts story actually already has started few days early (a few orders queued on the list by now), just that I didn’t upload them here as non of them had truly accomplished, still work in progress. Hey wait, I haven’t resumed for order yet ya, wait until my further notice ok. Still got important work to do this 1 to 2 weeks. Also I had restock some of the tools; felt, buttons, fabrics etc.. Oh ya, my hubby and I won the felt giveaway from Cik Kema, thanks so much Cik Kema! And yes, a few few few days ahead, I’ll come with something which I’ve promised before. What it would be? Come and check later ok!

I hope it is not too late to wish all of you Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Halal & Maaf Zahir & Batin. And to tell you what, I haven’t sewn our baju raya at all! I didn’t made it. The option? Grabbed those ready made from store la, what else?…

Thank you for reading!

I’m home!

Jul

Hi again! It’s good to be back at home, but I left a part of my heart there. We’ve been to Celyn Resort, Kundasang highland with mount Kinabalu view. What the great escape to have a quality time with family, away from crowded. Here’s some pictures to share; the views actually, not the faces *wink*

Beside our official duties, still I had time for crafting and replied some emails and calls regarding customer’s orders, believe it or not I’ve brought along my felt and some craft tools too. At least I had finished some of the baju kecil orders while we were there. I’ll upload the pictures later. Apart from that,  here the pictures of some tools which I’ve been bought a few days back.

Some headbands, cotton fabrics, magnets from MS Craft Shoppe, polkadot sellotape, vintage buttons from local shop and fancy buttons from Studio Shoppe.

Happy weekend!

My diy brand label

11
Jun

Last night, I’ve experimentized this after a very brief chats with Lian trough email before that. I guess it turned out quite well…

Using inkjet printer and print on to fabric ( I used linen in this case), that’s the rule I guess. For the time being, I will use this label on my non-washable products, maybe for the baju kecil and pin cushion. Now I can figured it out what Lian means about design your own pattern of fabric. Thanks Lian!

Sewing at anywhere (even in the office!)

05
May

We had the ‘informal box making course at the office’ before. We did it again! But this time, we do the sewing in the office! My boss even encouraged us to bring our sewing machine. No lies, this picture proves it!

untitled-12

See the only man in the picture? He’s the boss! Read the text on the picture? He typed it, while I was at the canteen buying some breakfasts for us. That’s my boss!

No lah… the truth is, we were asked to sew our office’s curtain. I bought the fabrics last sunday. And my boss allowed us to bring our sewing machine and do it in the office because he wants it asap. Luckily we can finished all the works before 4 pm. Today we will hang them to where they’re suppose to be. *wink*
