Stash swap update
Nov
Got my stash from Hani yesterday. Thank you dear, I love them all.
And since Fuzzy has already got hers too, so here I want to show what I have gave her…

3 fat quarters of 100% cotton…

Felts…

Button pack and 3 meters of embroidered ribbons…

And my surprise gifts for her; vintage handmade coaster (not by me, but by my talented sister). Can anyone tell me what’s the name of this technique?

And not least, a pack of threads and crocheted flowers.
Really enjoy this game!

Stash swap
Nov
I was chosen to join this stash swap between 10 crafter friends (Hani, Fida, Anasfadilah, Kak Sheila, Fuzzy, Alynn, Kak Pah, Azie, Mus and me) organized by Hani. Am so excited to play this game, and had already prepared most of the stash to swap away which include;
- 10 pieces of buttons – checked
- 3 pieces of fat quarters (18″x22″) fabrics - checked
- 3 pieces ribbons (1 meter each) - checked
- 2 pieces felt (A4 size) - checked
- special (surprise) stash – still thinking…
This is the swap chart;
Fida –> Shiela –> Hani –> Jaja –> Fuzzy –> Azie –> Mus –> Alynn –> Kak Pah –> Anasfadilah –> Fida
That’s mean I will receive stash from Hani and will give stash to Fuzzy. Couldn’t wait to start this game by next week. I know it gonna be fun!
Diaper stacker
Apr
For me, diaper stacker is very synonym to Jurra Sew Cute. Why? Because I knew about diaper stacker existence was from her blog. Beside, I haven’t noticed if there anybody else who produced and sell the same thing before. Yes, of course now I know a few followers of it but still Jurra was the pioneer for diaper stacker maker in this region, in my honest opinion!
And this is what she has made for me, for my lil’ Sufi..

Perfect sweet color for my lil’ princess. And the embroidered name, I love it so much! At least, I can have the touch of the most wanted embroidery machine of hers.

A simple but meaningful note, a business card and even a payment receipt!

I was so surprised when found out this cute little booties. My hubby didn’t talk anything about it when he took the parcel from Jurra. It’s a gift for lil’ Sufi. A very sweet gift! Thank you so much Jurra, you really had multiplied my happiness today!

Approximately matched for her tiny foot. See how happy she is. Thank you auntie Jurra! Seem like I need to find a match color gown for her then.

Hair barrettes
Apr
I hope somebodies will happy to see and soon to have this…

Love is in the air theme.

Simple design. The printed felt itself is enough, no need for an additional embellishment.

Flower shape from the printed felt. Once finished, it looks like a cup cake to me. Whatever…

A caterpillar, but then it also looks like an ant. Whatever…

A pair of snap hair clip with purple rose buds.

For a mother and her daughter.

Between my 3 sisters in law and me, we are very close to each other. They have been came and slept to our house for so many times. They just knew it that they were always most welcome here. So, I made these 3 hair barrettes, as my special thought for them.

Using some aussie fancy buttons, thanks again Fida! They were surprised and appreciated it. And I’m happy for that of course!
Lian, yours will be next. Please don’t get bored waiting! *wink*

Making box fever
Apr
I felt funny about this… these past few days, our activity in the office revolved around making a box. Not me, but my colleagues! Ok, they had influenced by me! Actually, it all began when Kak Ida asked me to teach her to make a simple box. She is really a very fast learner and now she can make a various sizes of boxes on her own. Then it has infected to others, like a virus that became a fever!

Luckily they already finished their official works!

Right now, they’re still trying hard to multiply their box collection! Such an addicted I guess! My boss took these pictures for us, using his very own camera! Can you believe that, how supporting my boss is? He even asked us to make some for our office’s library.

Pencil box
Apr

I made these 3 pencil boxes last night for PERMATA Tuaran as they requested all parents to bring a tin to place our children’s pencil colors. I have no tin in the house at the moment so I managed to make 3 boxes for them, this time was helped by my hubby to laminating them with self adhesive plastic film.

Triangle shape covered by buttons. Actually, I only put some buttons in a gap between the printed buttons.

Square shape with felt flowers and buttons.

Another square shape with rustic string and buttons.
I hope they would last longer.

Totable tote
Mar
It quite small for a bag, more to pouch size. But still it’s a bag, a totable tote bag for sure. I’ve made last night, took me until 2 am to finished.

A simple patchwork and batting to make it stand itself.

Some felt flowers and buttons for embellishments.
Ok, I supposed to make it a surprise gift for my blogger friend, as I was chosen for a her birthday swap away. But being me, I just couldn’t resist to post it here as soon as it completed. Couldn’t wait to get mine either! Fatt, I made this specially for you. Happy belated birthday, dear!!!
Fida, you really make my day!!!
Mar
I feel so happy today! Why? Because I’ve got this…

My dream buttons!!! An aussie buttons from Fida. Oh my God, how can Fida let go those cute and fancy buttons to someone else? But that’s Fida, she can hears my heart desperately groaning to have those buttons. Oh.. I wish I have even more, as much as Jurra and Maya! Greedy me! *wink* Thank you so much Fida, you really make my day! I’ll make it up to you, I promise!
Not least the printed felt I bought from eBay and some cheap buttons and glitters from kedai RM2.
