This bag was ordered by Maswanie. She seemed to be satisfied with it. A little bit adjustment applied; I added 2 pockets on the outside appearance. And yes, this is the final design from now on.

Sew it – Drawstring Bag

I was so interested when I read about this on Zura’s blog. Then I found it on Hani’s too. So, they leaded me to Make a Drawstring Bag with Sew It by Mayya Sew Chic and Unique. I want to join the game as I’ve been planned to make myself a small-simple-handy pouch for my simple-easy-going self. So here’s my drawstring version…

Made it last night, only took about an hour to be finished. Quite easy to make indeed, time-consuming only on embellishing part. Mostly I used wooden buttons to embellish  both sides. The body measures 25.5 cm height, 18.5 length and  the base is about 11.5 cm x 7 cm.

I recycled a never-used embroidered jeans which I’ve bought a months ago. Actually, this design I’ve designed for quite long, ever since my student-life. We were asked to form a company and sell products, for our entrepreneurship subject. So, one of the product we sell was this kind of pouch. I made it for our company. So, it’s like a ‘revisited’ for me to make this pouch after 7 years.

It has rectangular base. Just perfect for my wallet, cellphone and keys. Its handy; just slip my hand through the handle and just it. Big fussy handbag, no more!

Stripey bags

2 Honey fieldbags (yup, I named it as per the person who firstly requested for such design). And I’ve made change to the closure. It’s now zippered!

Kely totebag, also upgraded; zippered at the closure.

From now on, the closure for these 2 bag’s designs will be zippered instead of button. But the price is still the same!

Field bags

Only a few days left for fasting but I haven’t sew our ‘baju raya rasmi’ yet. All these while, I’d only managed to finish my customers orders. Thank god now they were all completed, only a few waiting for delivery. Forgetful me didn’t take any picture of all the baju kurung I’ve sewn!

By the way, here I want to share a pictures of these. Second and third trials to make such design. The biggest bag I ever made. Still have no name, thinking for an adjustment to the appearance. We’ll see!

Love at the first sight with the color. And guess what, this bag will fly to Jordan! Not directly though. The customer instead asked me to post it to her friend who will be back to Malaysia for hari raya.

And this black & white is for Yanti.

A days ahead are ours, no more last minute orders ya.

Bags frenzy

Been keeping this picture for 6 days as requested by the buyer to keep it a secret until the person-it-will-goes-to really got the bag. A surprise she said.

10 of Kely totebags, ordered by Shifa as she wanted to give them to her former teachers. The first 4 had embroidered names at their bottom as per Shifa’s request. Actually she has fell in love to this bag since the first time she bought it from the sale I’ve launched a few weeks back.

Really happy to found that she really really satisfied when she got the parcel last Tuesday.
