Baby’s comfort

Special request by Normi for her new born baby, I finally finished them after 2 years waiting (since last year, lol). Thank you and sorry for the patient and understanding. I hope it will satisfies you.

A bed, pillow and 2 bolster cases. This soft pink with embroidered flower and edge fabric was prepared by her. She asked for these words, so I used cotton fabrics to form the letters and machine-sewn them. A few heart shape appliques and buttons applied.

Not least, a simple headband for the baby, as a gift from me. I should’ve put name on it but since I didn’t know the baby’s name and as I want it to be a surprise, so I just let it be it.

My achievement of the day…

I know the word ‘achievement’ is too big for this simple and easy baby bed sheet set, but seemed like I’ve forced myself to complete it last night. The past 3 days, I didn’t spent much time on crafting. A bit lazy and need to rest somehow.

This baby bed sheet was requested by a mom to be, Mas. She asked for a simple design with only frills. So, it quite easy for me. Actually she also asked for a quilt but I don’t have enough confidence to make it for commercial purpose.

Diaper stacker

For me, diaper stacker is very synonym to Jurra Sew Cute. Why? Because I knew about diaper stacker existence was from her blog. Beside, I haven’t noticed if there anybody else who produced and sell the same thing before. Yes, of course now I know a few followers of it but still Jurra was the pioneer for diaper stacker maker in this region, in my honest opinion!

And this is what she has made for me, for my lil’ Sufi..

Perfect sweet color for my lil’ princess. And the embroidered name, I love it so much! At least, I can have the touch of the most wanted embroidery machine of hers.

A simple but meaningful note, a business card and even a payment receipt!

I was so surprised when found out this cute little booties. My hubby didn’t talk anything about it when he took the parcel from Jurra. It’s a gift for lil’ Sufi. A very sweet gift! Thank you so much Jurra, you really had multiplied my happiness today!

Approximately matched for her tiny foot. See how happy she is. Thank you auntie Jurra! Seem like I need to find a match color gown for her then.

The pillow and its cases

This pillow and its cases are made for my son, to bring to the nursery.

I put his name on the pillow cases using applique technique to easily recognize which one is his. Seems like the more I’m comfortable with this technique.

Cloth baby shoe

Finally I made my own cloth baby show. Quite excited at first but seems that the utility graph is going down right now. Maybe because of the outcomes are not up to the expectation…

Learning the tutorials from the internet… not as simple and easy as what they instructed and illustrated when it comes to “do it yourself” part. Keep practice I guess.

So, this is the implementation. My 1 month lil’ Sufi modelling her mama’s handmade shoe (this is the best pose she can show)

Optimists to make them perfect in the future… *sigh*
